    On approaching a danger zone, the unit emits an audiable beep and the display turns red. The first proximity bar lights up. As the danger zone comes closer, the proximity bars increase and the audible beep increases in frequency. Your speed continues to be displayed. At the danger spot, the five proximity vbars are shown and th beep is rapid. The unit reverts to normal display as soon as the danger spot is passed.
